and driving is a serious issue in the United States. Almost
17,000 people are killed each year in alcohol related crashes.
It is the leading cause of death for people between the ages of
16-24 and it is the most frequently committed violent crime in
the United States.
It
is important for anyone that drives a vehicle or drinks alcohol
to understand the dangers of drinking and driving. Drinking and
driving affects every age group but it poses the biggest threat
on teenagers.
Student
Outreach for Alcohol Responsibility (SOFAR) is an organization
developed to educate the public on the dangers of drinking and
